Pedalpalooza is a Portland institution. Since 2004 the non-profit Shift has turned June in Portland into non-stop bike fun everywhere you look. This year there are 300 rides scheduled for Pedalpalooza, and we are hosting one of them!
If you're a new bike rider or know one, join us this Saturday, 6/17, at 10am in front of the shop for a safe, fun ride around our neighborhood! Kids of all ages are welcome (with a parent/guardian) as well as adults who recently learned! Even if you've got a little one who is just getting used to riding along with you on your bike, come on down.
And speaking of Portland institutions, after the ride Nutcase Helmets will be here! Nutcase has been making super rad helmets in Portland since 2000. Meghan from Nutcase will be here to chat about helmets & all things related to bike fun! Nutcase will be giving away one Lil' Nutty helmet (aka a kid's helmet), and they will have a special discount for riders!
Plus PB&J's & Capri Suns, because it's looking like that's our thing over here. And bubbles, too!
