The Stuffie Friends Project!

Hats off to the second grade class at Portland's Madeleine School for having Made You Look visit their creative writing class!

We brought in one stuffed animal for each kid to name and write a short bio for, and they donated them to kids staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Oregon and SW Washington.

It was all part of the "Stuffie Friends" project – a classroom activity started by an awesome local mom. It gets kids excited about creative writing and storytelling and allows them to be part of a unique community service project.

It was so fun to see all the names (i.e.: Fur Dragon, Rainbow Sparkles) and stories the kids came up with, and they were thrilled to be able to donate them to kids in need.
